Microsatellites/Tandem Repeats database
Presence of microsatellites in the selected genome is pre-computed for fast data retrieval. The service allows designing primers for microsatellite detection, and it is also prosible to used those primers to search the presence of the microsatellite in all genomes within the genera.
More information about microsatellites/tandem repeats here.

Restriction digest of sequence.
Shows number of cuts for commercially available endonucleases. PFGE simulation is provided for selected enzymes.

Nucleotide and oligonucleotide composition of genome: data retrieval Allows retrieval of raw frequencies and other derived frequencies.

Codom usage in the selected genome

Distance to other sequenced prokariotes based in oligonucleotide frequencies
Compares the dinucleotide to hexanucleotide composition of genomes all sequenced prokaryotic genomes against selected genome. The genomes with a similar oligonucleotide composition are shown. Uses Euclidean distance for comparison.

Search ORFs or RNA genes by name.
Allows searching multiple genes simultaneously in the selected genome or in all genomes from the same genera. The service allows to retrieve the sequences in Fasta format, or to concatenate and alignment them with ClustalW. Finally, the sequences may be compared in order to calculate a distance matrix.
